Planning - Song Choice

We have chosen to use Marina and the diamonds "Valley of the dolls" for our final song choice. We thought this song would be best as our music video will contain one female and the artist of the song is female.
We have chosen to use this song because the themes of the song relates to people at one point in their lives, who have had previous experiences dealing with heartbreak and emotional stress. This song relates to our target audience as they are young people and follows the conventions of a music video.
The artist is also popular amongst young crowds so our video will hopefully be popular amongst people.
