A brief overview of the new editing skills you've learned during the editing of your music video.

Compared to last year I think the editing for our music video is much more intense and more effective than the editing done for the thriller film opening.This is due to learning how to use Final Cut pro more effectively and due to all the new editing skills I have learnt throughout the process of making this music video. New editing skills include;

• How to use markers effectively by adding it onto every beat of the song which makes it easier to cut scenes.
• Cutting between scenes to create a good structure. 
• Overlapping two scenes together.
• Desaturating.
• Adding filter effects
• Changing the speed to create a fast or slow motion for specific scenes.
• Using base tracks -filming the whole song, beginning to end which makes it easier to cut between each base track.
